Eugene Mitchell
Eugene Mitchell, 63, Key Largo, Fla., formerly of Cranks, died Jan. 24, 2003, at his home.
A retired veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Blanche Mitchell.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Mitchell, Key Largo, Fla.; three children: Dennis Mitchell, Texas; Sharyl Skidmore and husband, Mike, Miami, Fla.; and Robert Mitchell and wife, Trish, Miami, Fla.; three brothers: John Mitchell and wife, Coretta, Cranks; Jim Mitchell and wife, Gloria, Loyall; and Steve Mitchell and wife, Ella, Cranks; three sisters: Juanita Brown and husband, Harold, Noblesville, Ind.; Kila Viox and husband, Jerry, Oregonia, Ohio; and Phylllis Gross, and husband Alfred, Harlan; six stepbrothers: Bill Mitchell and wife, Deloris, Raleigh N.C.; Dan Mitchell, Asheville, N.C.; Bob Mitchell and wife, Julia, Abingdon, Va.; Burgin Mitchell and wife, Afleda, Corbin; Jack Mitchell and wife, Frances, Crestview, Hawaii; and Willard Mitchell, Fort Myers, Fla.; three stepsisters: Fern West and husband, Bill, Fort Myers, Fla.; Lorene Whitman and husband, Bill, Gray, Tenn.; and Alice Halcomb, Fort Myers, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today from 10 a.m. until noon at Rich Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery with full military rites.
Rich Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
