Harlan Passes Privilege Tax

    Harlan, Dec 18 - At the regular meeting of the City Council last Monday, Pearl Osborne elected Chief of Police and Chas. Noe and J. J. Pace as policemen. The tax on jitney drivers was raised to $100 per year, and each required to give a bond of $1,000.
