Miner Pardoned

    Frankfort, Ky., March 16 (AP) - William Burnett, a coal miner, who took part in the bloody battle at Evarts, Ky., in which four men were killed as the climax to mine disorders in the Spring of 1931, had been pardoned today and relieved of a three-year prison sentence by Governor Ruby Laffon.
