    Liddia Cox Gambrell, 93, of Corbin, passed away Monday, May 30, 2005 at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
    Born April 2, 1912 in Knox County, she was the daughter of the late Levi and Pheba Young Spurlock. She was a homemaker and Pentecostal by faith.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Luther Cox and Hobert Gambrell; her grandson, Noah Luther Taylor; great-grandchild, Cody Taylor; and several brothers and sisters.
    She is survived by her daughter, Belvie Cox Bennett and husband Charles; grandchildren, Veda Wright and husband Jerry, Tommy Taylor, Liddie Taylor, Denny Taylor and wife Deandra, Lawrence Collingsworth and wife Crystal, Laura Taylor and Michael Taylor; 12 great grandchildren; a sister, Lavidda Strunk of Lima, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends who mourn her passing.
    The funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dorsey King officiating. Burial will be in the Resthaven Cemetery.
    The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. today (Thursday) at the funeral home.
