    Howard Dean, 52, Indianapolis, formerly of Cawood, died Sept. 6, 2003, at his home. 
    He was an Army veteran of the Gulf War. 
    Dean was employed for 12 years at Arrow Containers as a machine operator. 
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Alice Dean; and a brother, Floyd Dean. 
    He is survived by three sisters: Faye Jenkins and husband, Harold, Cleveland, Tenn.; Dorthy Dean; and Joyce Osborne and husband, Troy, all of Indianapolis ; five brothers: Millard Dean Sr. and wife, Crystal; Paris Dean and wife, Elizabeth; Arthor Dean and wife, Betty; and Wilson Dean and Marvin Dean, all of Indianapolis; and several nieces, nephews and other family and friends. 
    Funeral services were conducted Sept. 9 at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary in Indianapolis.
