A GOOD MAN PASSES TO HIS REWARD

   Mr. France Hall, aged 86, died Friday morning at 9:15 of old age and gall stones. After an illness of 18 days, being conscious until the last. He is survived by two sons and five daughters, composed of Mesdames Lotitia Harris of Evarts, Polly Gross of Deering, KY, Bettie Noe of Kitts, Nancy Noe of Harlan, and Jane Nolan of Baxter; Rob Hall of Kitts and France Hall, Jr., Coal Good. Mr. Hall died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Green Noe, near this place.

   Mr. Hall was a most excellent citizen and soldier, being also a member of the Baptist church of this place. Some time ago he was appointed a Colonel on Governor Morrow's staff.

   The funeral service hed (held) at Grays Knob cemetery at 9:30 Saturday morning, being conducted by Rev. J.R. Black
