PENNINGTON GAP, Va. - Billie Clark, 70, Stone Creek community, died Friday (April 26, 2002) at Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge, Tenn.
Born in Harlan, Ky. March 2, 1932, she had been a resident of Lee County 27 years. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Polly Spurlock Stewart; two brothers, James Bruce and Roy Stewart Jr.; one sister, Ola Betty Frentner.
Surviving are her husband, Bill Clark, of the home; one stepson, David Clark, Morrow, Ga.; two daughters, Donna Clark Woodard, Keokee, Va., and Debra Garrett, Clinton, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Stacy Clark and Joshua Woodard; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Scott Rowe; one brother, Dennis Bryant, Tazewell, Tenn.; two sisters, Sue Rowe, Clinton, Tenn., and Virginia Pieper.
Calling hours are from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Province Funeral Home of Pennington Gap, Va.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the sanctuary of the funeral home with the Rev. James Willard Pope officiating.
